It’s been a long time since we heard the King of the South talking, and this time, after a long wait, T.I. finally talks about life in prison and what he learned from the experience.
Tip also talks about his forthcoming album. Here’s the transcript of what he said:
“I learned a lot, grew a lot and now I think it’s time to put all that to good use. I didn’t write too much, people might thought I was doing a lot of writing but I didn’t write that much, you know. I didn’t get a lot of time to. It was a lot of activity around me so I wasn’t really motivated to create. I just want to continue to maintain the level of success I’ve been fortunate to do over and over again over the years. Well, this album is different in many ways. I think that Paper Trail was a lot more about thoughts and this is more about feelings. And this is significantly more aggressive, at this point in the production. Who knows, I could do ten love songs tomorrow and change the direction but as of right now, it’s going hard. It’s going hard like classic T.I.”
Classic T.I.? Looks like we have something to really look forward to! T.I.’s newest album is scheduled to be released in August 24th, 2010.
