Just yesterday we reported the possibility of TI and Tiny’s upcoming wedding in Hawaii, but today we got word that the couple is actually having a pre-wedding family trip to Hawaii before heading on to Miami to proceed with the nuptials. TheYBF.com reported that TI and Tiny’s wedding will be attended by close friends and family and will be a super-intimate affair. And we finally got the date: July 31st, 2010 (read: next week).

One of the most anticipated music videos of the season: “Fancy” by Drake, is on its way to your TV screens, ladies, and why are we addressing the women? Because it will feature Drake, TI and Swizz Beatz. Talk about triple hotness in one go. TI confirmed that the video is indeed intended for the ladies:
“It’s a dedication to the ladies who take pride in being the flyest and finest that there are out there to be noticed.”
TI spoke highly of his collaboration with Drake and Swizz Beatz to MTV News:
“I was offered the opportunity and given the pleasure to be a part of this monstrosity of a record by young Drizzy and my big homie O.G., player, partner Swizz Bizzy. I’m honored, privileged and absolutely pleased to be a part of this extravaganza that you are witnessing before you here today.”
In the production process, TI was accompanied by Tiny and his kids. That’s one heck of a strong support. We can’t wait to see the result, but meanwhile, here’s a look at what happened behind-the-scenes. Expect to see a great video!
Gossip sites all over the internet are buzzing about the speculations of TI and Tiny’s upcoming nuptials. The couple and their families are spending this weekend in Hawaii, along with some of their closest friends. Tiny’s daughter, Zonnique, tweeted the ‘vacation’, but left out the details of her mom and Tip’s activities.
There’s no details when or where the exact place of the nuptials, but people are seemingly sure enough about this event. TI has been dating Tiny a long time and their relationship is always out in the open, so we guess they deserve the privacy. However, if you’re not getting married like TI and just want to hang out on the beach this summer, then these AKOO getups are for you.
TI was spotted in NYC last week, after a rumored meeting with publishers. Is Tip writing a book? We’ll have to wait for more details on this. But we don’t really have to wait to steal his style, because from the looks of it, TI might be wearing last season’s AKOO Snobby tee. But TI isn’t always about work. He also took the time to throw his fiancee, Tiny, a birthday bash at the Havana Club a few days prior.
The couple is rumored to be getting married at a secluded island soon. No further details released about this, but it’s happening, folks.

Brace yourself for yet another version of the Takers movie starring TI and a bunch of other superstars such as Idris Elba, Matt Dillon, Paul Walker, Jay Hernandez, Michael Ealy, Hayden Christensen and Chris Brown. It’s said that this poster will be the international edition that will be used to promote the movie abroad. And guess what… Chris Brown is out of the equation again. Talk about weird.
Chris Brown might be in and out the Takers movie poster, but TI makes sure that the young singer gets his air time. The King of the South himself endorsed Brown’s work:
“Chris was cool, man. I think Chris gonna impress a lot of people. He does a lot of high performance, action sequences. He shows his ability. I think people will actually be pleasantly surprised with his performance.”
There’s no wonder that Tip is so excited for Brown’s work. The two were involved in a collaboration, recording some tracks prior to Tip’s jail time. Looks like we have something to wait for.
When you’re as high profile as Clifford Harris, a.k.a. TI, chances are you won’t take advice from anybody. That’s why we think TI is one of a kind. Ever wonder how he keeps so quiet whenever asked about his upcoming wedding to his fiancee, Tiny? Turns out that Tip keeps a cool attitude towards it, based on an advice by a legend. He told Power 106 that legendary singer, Diana Ross, helped him to always remember that some things in life should be kept private:
“Why offer people the opportunity to have an opinion about something they shouldn’t have an opinion about? One thing Diana Ross told me, she said, ‘You’ve got to keep something to yourself.’ I just feel like that’s something private, that’s between us.”
That’s the thing, the King should take an advice from a Queen, and TI did it well. However, his mouth might be sealed, but his fiancee just confirmed that her and TI’s wedding will surely happen… before this year ends.
Wonder where Tiny has been taking her advice from. LOL!
Looks like it’s not only his movie, Takers, which had to undergo some rescheduling, TI’s upcoming album, King Uncaged, is also experiencing schedule alterations. Over the weekend, online retailer, Amazon.com has inked a new release date for the album, from August 17th pushed back to September 28th.
There’s still no word from Tip nor his label about the rescheduled release of the album. King Uncaged will be his first post-prison album after serving a year and a day for the federal gun possession charges. Well, the album might be quite a long wait, but we know one thing that requires zero waiting: getting TI’s AKOO Clothing line fly swagger. Today’s hot item is…
Happy 4th of July, everybody! Hope you had a blast on the weekend. Our man TI is has also been attending fun events last weekend, such as Trey Songz’s Toast to Women at Carol’s Daughter Pop Up Store on July 3, 2010 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The King of the South was also seen at the 2010 Essence Music Festival at the Louisiana Superdome, July 4, 2010 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
