TI was spotted in NYC last week, after a rumored meeting with publishers.  Is Tip writing a book?  We’ll have to wait for more details on this.  But we don’t really have to wait to steal his style, because from the looks of it, TI might be wearing last season’s AKOO Snobby tee.  And it looks fine on him, combined with that pair of Louis Vuitton kicks.

However if you want to get a more summery look from AKOO while still having the TI swagger, this AKOO Hideout tee is a great options.  Available in three colorways, the AKOO Hideout tee is certainly a must-have this season.

It’s been a LONG time since the last ‘Steal TI’s Look’ session, and today is the right day for us to observe what Tip wore to the Tiny and Toya screening party in Atlanta, yesterday.  Behold your man and his girl, Tiny.

Our favorite blogger, Sandra Rose, brought great news today as she said that rapper TI who’s currently still in prison on illegal weapon possession charges, will be released to an Atlanta halfway house to serve out the remainder of his sentence after the New Year.

TI is originally scheduled to be released on May 26th, 2010 after the 12 month and 1 day sentence, but there have been talks about early release since a couple of weeks ago. That is why we think it’s great news that Tip will soon be back in Atlanta, although will still be kept in a halfway house, which rules will be a bit more relaxed compared to the prison. Word is, he might even be allowed to work at the Grand Hustle offices during the day and such.

That ain’t the only good news today. Various blogs and news sites also reported that the King of The south still reigns with his supremacy when Billboard announced their completed year-end and decade recap lists. TI won the Top Hot Songs Artist of 2009, and that’s for his four top 5 singles, “Whatever You Like”, “Swagga Like Us,” “Live Your Life,” and “Dead and Gone”, off 2008’s double platinum Paper Trail album.

If that doesn’t make you want TI to come back to ATL sooner, we don’t know what will. Prepare to greet Tip in style as he comes back, in cool AKOO gear.  Here are some ideas:

Tiny recently opened up about her wedding plans with TI, post-prison, and it still gives us all a great feeling to hear that. Meanwhile, 24HourHipHop reported that they received an email from one of their reader who happens to have a family member who’s TI’s fellow inmate in prison. The fan tells us that Tip is doing real well in the clink. Here’s the email:

Whats good? My cousin jason is locked up with t.i. and I wanted to drop a line so you could get it out to the world that T.i. is more than okay in prison. My cuz told me in the beginning he only had one fight but after that it has been smooth sailing and he has either made cool with all the others or spreads his money around so either way it’s all good. My cuz said one time he even let him use some of his phone time when his ran out and that overall Tip is a cool humble dude. Just let the people know that.

So TI wasn’t the only one absent from this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards, his pal Kanye West also failed to make an appearance. At least TI was absent for a reason. He’s still paying his dues in prison, and sent Tiny, his fiancee to receive the Best Hip Hop Collaboration for his duet with Rihanna in single “Live Your Life” and was honored with Album of the Year for his latest album “Paper Trail”.

Tiny read a letter written by Tip, saying, “Although I’m not there with you all, I’m there in spirit. My road to redemption is almost over. … Thanks for the support.”

TI’s road to redemption IS almost over. Wow, time flies and it’s already 5 months after TI’s incarceration. And throughout these times, TI’s AKOO clothing business is not stopping. In fact, there’s a string of new arrivals and here are some of them:

TI must be a proud fiancé as his other half, Tiny, is the star of a very successful reality show on BET.  Tiny and her friend, Toya (Lil’ Wayne’s baby mama) made their reality show as the highest-rating show on BET’s history and the show’s second season has just been confirmed.  The second season filming for Tiny and Toya has started, this time not only following Tiny and Toya, but also their kids’ group: The OMG Girlz.  Tiny’s daughter, Zonnique and Toya’s daughter, Reginae are members of the group along with two other girls, Bahjah and Lourdes.

Now whose parent won’t be proud seeing their kids on the roll?  TI would be proud too, as Zonnique clearly takes things seriously when it comes to business.  And although she’s not blood-related to TI, Zonnique appears to inherit Tip’s swagger.

On September 25, 1980, a baby named Clifford Joseph Harris Jr. was born and the world has never been the same again.  Later on the baby would be known best as one of the biggest names in hip hop, even dubbed “The King of The South”.  But we –of course- know him as TI.

There is little information on how Tiny celebrates her boo’s birthday, but we bet she’s over at the Kansas prison right now and being there for TI, as he spoiled her with lavish presents even from behind bars on her birthday a few months ago.

Well, we just wanna wish TI a very happy birthday!
