Hosea Chanchez Flaunts His Custom AKOO Gear

Look who rocked a custom-designed AKOO Clothing suit at the 2011 BET Awards red carpet and stage back in June. Hosea Chanchez, star of The Game is the new celebrity ambassador of AKOO Clothing stood out of the crowd with his AKOO gear.

Ralph Reynolds, Creative Director of AKOO Clothing stated:

“I am so pleased with the outcome of the suit we designed. Still in the light of TI’s interview with Larry King of CNN, Trapmuzik published Tip’s photos with the talkshow king, and here’s one of our favorites.

Both gentlemen look dashing. We got a sneaky suspicion that Larry King was given some AKOO stuff, and we were right. Sandrarose.com reported today that Larry did receive a bunch of AKOO stuff, including a pair of jeans, an AKOO sweater AND… Larry actually used this one immediately:

DJ Drama: TI Will Come Home Sooner Than Later

Now this is a sentence from DJ Drama about TI that makes fans everywhere wonder: will TI really come home sooner than his supposedly 366 days sentence?

In an interview with Mr. Peter Parker show, DJ Drama revealed that TI will come home ‘sooner than later’. Here’s the interview:

DJ Drama stated:

“Nah, I haven’t talked to Tip directly. But I was up at the office the other day and he’s good. There were some rumors going on about some sickness or something that happened at the prison but all that’s false, I know he’s good. He’s getting all the letters people are writing him and everything. Tiny has been up there multiple times even though he says he don’t want nobody to come up and see him. I’m curious though, I definitely wanna know his reaction to the Michael Jackson situation, him passing and even in general you know. You think about all of the people locked up feeling the same way. Tip is good. He’ll be home sooner than later. You know what I mean, get right back to work.”

That’s a pretty bold statement as TI is due to be released in 2010.

Tiny Gets Busy While TI’s Away

While TI is spending his days at the Arkansas Federal Prison, his fiancé, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle is getting busy with her own gigs and one of them is starring in the BET reality television show with Antonia “Toya” Carter. So if you wanna get a taste of Tiny’s or Toya’s life, be sure to watch out for the show about the “Hot Moms of ATL”.

Before you forget who Tiny is (aside of TI’s longtime fiancé and the mother of his children), we’re gonna refresh your memory. Tameka “Tiny” Cottle is a 90′s singer with the group, Xscape. While Toya, is the ex-wife of rapper Lil Wayne and the mother of his daughter. Talk about the ladies of hip hop royalties.

As we quote from the press release:

“Each episode will give the audience an inside look into Tiny and Toya’s lives. They take us on an exciting rollercoaster ride in search of independence and a quest to set the record straight. We watch them flip the script and create new business ventures of their own. They will be faced with real choices that will potentially change their lives and the lives of those around them forever. We learn why this magnetic and mesmerizing duo won the hearts of T.I. and Lil Wayne, as they win over ours.”

Ian Johnson: Lookin’ Fly in AKOO

By now you probably realize how we always associate AKOO Clothing with its owner, TI (who wears them a lot, of course). Well turns out that other celebs -that includes athletes- are also donning AKOO and looking fly. PressPass.TV followed Ian Johnson of Minnesota Vikings and his wife, Chrissy, whom he proposed to after the Broncos’ 43-42 overtime victory in the Fiesta Bowl in 2006, going around New York City a few months back. They stopped at the AKOO office and Ian actually got some free AKOO stuff.

Talk about making us green with envy.

In TI news: We are dreading every single day towards TI’s incarceration. But guess what, the King of the South is asking for his ‘check-in’ date to be postponed. TI is supposed to report by noon Tuesday to the Federal Correction Institution at Forrest City, Arkansas. According to reports, TI asked a court to let him remain free while he looks for a placement in a minimum-security prison near Atlanta. Tip claims that his criminal history was miscalculated by prison officials, due to the fact that his lawyer called a 2003 ‘scuffle’ with a mall cop. In the pre-sentencing report, it says that Tip has a “serious history of violence”. So when will the prison date be? The delay is said to be two weeks, but hey, anything can happen. We haven’t really heard about the exact date yet, but we do know that Tip is appearing in yet another farewell concert and after party this Sunday, May 24th, 2009 at Velvet Room, Atlanta.
