There’s always two sides of the coin and so far we’ve only seen the bad part when it comes to Tiny & Toya, a reality show starring TI’s fiancee, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle and Antonia “Toya” Carter. Quite a lot of people were skeptical when the show first aired on June 28, 2009, as it tells a story about the lives of two wives of hip hop royalties, TI and Lil Wayne, who are… well, Tiny and Toya.
But those who doubted the show can eat their words because the Tiny & Toya show have reached a milestone previously unattained by ANY reality show on the BET network. Allhiphop.com reported that according to Nielsen Media Research, although their debut first episode did not attract many viewers, Tiny & Toya finished its eight-episode debut season with an average of 1.8 million viewers, and that is way far than any other series have achieved in BET history. The Tiny & Toya season finale on August 25 attracted over 1.9 million total views. Ain’t too shabby for Tiny and this might boost her morale being away from her loved one, Tip, who’s still serving time at the Arkansas prison.
You’ve probably been waiting for TI to be released from jail. That’s not gonna happen until next year. But there’s always something to anticipate from the rapper, and thanks to his clothing line, AKOO, we’re kept on the edge of our seats waiting for great stuff to happen. Our man TI is doing everything right except for getting into prison. But even from behind the prison bars, TI is still doing it right. Tip just scored the highest debut on the new Billboard Hit 100 singles chart, yesterday. TI’s song “Remember Me,” featuring Mary J. Blige, debuted at No. 29 and reports around the internet shows that the song is boosted by 81,000 downloads!
